Her Story

Where It All Started

Sports have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was raised in Nowy Sącz, Poland, where athletics were a way of life in my family — my father was a professional soccer player, and my mother was a professional volleyball player. Their passion, discipline, and dedication shaped who I am long before I ever stepped onto a tennis court.

At just four years old, I was already spending hours in the gym watching my mother train and compete. By age six, I began playing tennis at Szkoła Tenisa Grzegorza Jerzego in Nowy Sącz, and by seven I was competing in tournaments. Tennis quickly became more than a sport — it became a lifelong passion that taught me discipline, resilience, confidence, and the value of hard work.

When I moved to the United States at fourteen, I continued competing in both tennis and volleyball while adapting to a new country and culture. Those experiences strengthened my determination and reinforced a belief I still carry today: challenges create opportunities for growth.

Coaching Experience

From Player to Coach

My coaching journey officially began in 2017 as an Assistant Soccer Coach at my father’s soccer club. Working alongside him taught me that great coaching is about far more than winning games — it’s about developing character, building confidence, and helping every athlete reach their potential.

Since then, I’ve been fortunate to coach athletes across multiple sports and levels of competition. Today, I proudly serve as the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at Moraine Valley Community College — the same program where I played — working with collegiate athletes to improve their technical skills, physical performance, mental toughness, and confidence both on and off the court.

In 2026, I also served as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Lockport Township High School, specializing in the long jump and triple jump. Coaching multiple sports has expanded my understanding of speed, explosiveness, movement mechanics, strength development, and overall athletic performance — knowledge I bring into every EMS session and tennis lesson I coach.

Great coaching is about far more than winning games — it's about developing character, building confidence, and helping every athlete reach their potential.

Education & Credentials

Always Learning, Always Improving

I believe great coaches never stop learning. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education in December 2025, and I’m currently completing my Master’s Degree in Sport Management, with an expected graduation in May 2027.

I’m also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional, holding both Level 1 and Level 2 Professional Certifications, which allows me to provide modern, evidence-based instruction to players of every age and skill level.

To expand how I help clients beyond the tennis court, I became a Certified miha bodytec® EMS Trainer. The miha bodytec system combines advanced technology with personalized coaching to deliver efficient, full-body workouts in just 20 minutes — an excellent fit for busy professionals, beginners, and athletes looking to build strength, fitness, and performance.
